How to Color Chocolate Ganache!

Coloring white chocolate ganache is an easy and fun way to decorate a cake.

You can use gel food color, powdered food color, or oil-based candy-coloring to color ganache. Gel and oil-based work best.

Start by making your white chocolate ganache. See the link below if you are new to making ganache, it includes all my ganache-making tips.

First, add some white gel or oil-based coloring to the ganache to cancel out the yellow from the chocolate.

Then, add your chosen color. Start with a small amount and add more if needed. It's easier to add more than try to lighten it if you add too much!

Allow the ganache to set and thicken before using it to decorate your cake. Remember the color will deepen more as it sets.

Once the ganached cake has set, you can decorate it however you like! For this cake I decorated with pastel meringues and sprinkles
