A Short Conversation With Myself

So I’ve been procrastinating for a couple of weeks now as to what I should say in my first blog post. It’s been pretty stressful. Feels like such a big deal, y’know?
“What if they don’t like me?”

“I’m not even that interesting…”

“What if I can’t think of anything to say?!”

“Do you think they’ll tease me when they find out I’m ginger…?”
And then I thought, hey no one is even reading it yet, you’re really just talking to yourself! And if there’s one thing I’m disturbingly good at, it’s talking to myself.

Procrastination over.

Me: “Hey, so what’s the deal with this blog thing?”

{Also} Me: “Hiya, you look great today! And that’s a great question, thanks for asking. I started this blog to share my love of all things baking, the ups and downs of cake decorating, and to share some gluten free recipes that don’t taste like sugar-sprinkled cardboard. And probably in and around all that, I’ll burble on a bit about all kinds of random things and try to solve all of the problems in the world.”

Me: “Sounds good, I’m in.”

{Also} Me: “Cool. Here, have a cupcake.”
